Our History
Integral emerged from Dalberg Catalyst, an independent nonprofit pioneered by the Dalberg Trust to build system-wide solutions to address some of the world's most pressing challenges.
Since 2020, we have built a global portfolio and track record that embodies our commitment to co-creating and stewarding strategies that are holistic, interconnected, and essential to the large-scale transformations our world urgently needs.
What is "Integral"?
Transformation requires more than an array of disparate efforts and loose intentions to coordinate. It demands coherent strategies, radical collaboration, and stewardship for the long game.
Integral represents an invitation: for whole fields of partners—including those with deep issue expertise, lived experience, formal authority, and capital—to face hard truths, embrace a spirit of collective ownership, and join together in exploring the future through action.
The name Integral was chosen to evoke wholeness, interconnection, integrity, and urgency—principles that shape our aspirations and guide the way we work.

Our Team
We are a global team of strategists, coalition builders, financial architects, and policy thinkers, drawn together by a shared recognition: there is no shortage of well intentioned actors and efforts to respond to global challenges, but there is an incredible lack of connective tissue.
We operate across five continents, with team members rooted in countries across Africa, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and North America. Our extended community includes our board, advisors, partners, and the diverse orchestrators and changemakers we work with every day.
